GTDS is providing one of the most robust and reliable Measurements While Drilling tools ‘SureSHOT’ with its distinctive pulsar design of Oscillating Motion drive. SureSHOT tools has been the most robust MWD tool in industry with an average MTBF of Pulsar over 6500 Hrs. On LWD side GTDS is providing GR and Multi Frequency Resistivity services with multiple depth of investigation. The tool provides eight resistivity curves in real-time at two different frequencies 2MHz and 400KHz to adopt the downhole conditions.
After conducting a detailed study of formations being drilled in region, GeoTarget Drilling Services introduced the cutting edge technology in drilling and brought the first time Extra Torque 9:10 lobe configuration Mud Motors “GeoDrive” which can generate over 25-35% extra torque. GTDS high torque motors are offered for both Performance Drilling and Directional Drilling services to improve the penetration rates in both cases and thereby increasing drilling efficiency. Aggressive bits can be selected to run with high torque motors. These motors have been used successfully in Oman, Pakistan and Iraq where these have produced results better than any competitor motors in the region. Due to the unique design features of its bearing sections, these motors have less maintenance cost and can produce longer runs.
GeoTarget Drilling Services motors are of the sealed bearing type, compressed air can be used as a drive medium. High torque, coupled with a slow speed motor, has proven to be the most effective when drilling in this manner. To reduce friction, some sort of lubrication must be added to the compressed air. Petroleum based lubricants, polymers, soap, and mist, all work well for this application. The most imposing question is; How much air is required to properly run a mud motor? Air volume requirements vary greatly between motor sizes and styles. GTDS has acquired license for drilling engineering software from the industry’s most experienced organization Sysdrill Paradigm. The software is used to generate BHA, perform T&D analysis, Hydraulic calculations, and analysis of Rig capacity with respect to certain well profiles including Extended Reach Wells.
